Hi, I'm Laila.
Welcome! I specialize in delivering a holistic approach to foster sustainable lifestyle modifications, empowering you to achieve your wellness goals. Each one of us is distinct, and I firmly believe that we inherently understand what's best for our bodies. We just need to tune in, embracing the intuitive voice within.
My journey into wellness started when I was in college. I was a dancer and injured my ankle. I was struggling with tendinitis and searching for answers to heal my body. I found yoga and a holistic chiropractor who taught me the many benefits of eating a plant based diet. I dove head first into diet and nutrition moving across the country to attend New York University for a degree in clinical nutrition. Little did I know that my passion and love for cooking would be ignited in my food science classes. I pivoted and left the nutrition program to follow my passion as a chef. I worked as a private chef specializing in vegan, vegetarian, and raw foods feeding people the food that I knew would nourish and heal them.
After a few years of teaching yoga and working as a chef I felt the call to go back to school and get my nursing degree. During my nursing career, I've seen patients struggle with largely preventable conditions, simply because they lacked the necessary support to implement the required lifestyle changes. This compelled me to reshape my nursing practice, aligning it more closely with what I know to be true. Thus, I became a Health and Wellness Coach. Your health and wellbeing are your most treasured possessions, and you hold the power to spark change. You can absolutely live the life you envision.
